Midori Gurin was never supposed to be in the game.

Yandere Dev was inspired to make his own game by Daniel Remar who created the game "Iji".

On March 2014 he proposed the idea of Yandere Simulator and was met with so much positive feedback that he decided to develop the game.

Yandere Dev worked for an unknown gaming company for three years then left to pursue his own independent games.
